The only April Fools joke is that the jokes on you if you weren't here! Most people don't think of skiing deep powder and bright sunshine in April but we have had a late season storm cycle blow through that dropped over 30cms of light Kootenay pow.
The snow is deep, the sun is warm and the vibe here at Snowwater is starting to measure on the Richter Scale. Two more days of this and plenty more pics on the way. For now, enjoy these pics and get your booking in for next season.

Canadian Mountain Holidays - or CMH as we call it - has a huge amount of skiable terrain. Their acreage spans across 11 lodges in the BC Rockies, Monashees and Selkirk ranges. The amount of lines available is just nuts when you think about it! This video hit the internet today and after seeing it decided it was definitely worth a post here on Helitracks.com. Awesome work CMH, we are stoked for the 2013/14 season and this video just made waiting through the Fall that much harder.

Of course, there is their marketing material in there but it is mixed in with some fantastic imagery from their 50,000 acres of premium terrain.
If you are planning a heli skiing vacation this winter, the STHS Magazine has all the info you need from getting to Revelstoke, where to stay and what to expect once your boots step out of that helicopter.

Legs of Steel was at it again last season and it looks like they have up'd their game once again. 'The Lost' trailer is looking amazing and it features some great Canadian content - namely Eagle Pass Heliskiing near Revelstoke BC. We never grow tired of seeing a skier rip down the spines of the BC interior. We love that these boys are from Europe and are spreading the word that you can get epic heli skiing right here in BC and don't need to travel all the way to AK!
Salomon Freeski TV keeps getting better and better this season. Each episode is so different from the previous. In Episode 4 of Season 6 Mike Douglas, Mark Abma and Kaj Zackrisson find themselves in Russia's Caucasus Mountains at a remote location called Arkhyz Gosdacha (Архыз Госдача). As the video will tell you, this is the secret base where Russian leaders would retreat to during the Cold War and it is apparently the place where the deal was done to unite Germany once again.
Things have changed in this pocket of Russia in that skiers have discovered what has been there through revolutions, wars, conflicts, famines and feast: Incredible and seemingly endless mountains. And the Salomon Freeski TV team makes the most of them with the help of Heliaction.ru
