Terrace, BC
Northern Escape Heli-Skiing is nestled in northern British Columbia's famous Skeena Mountains and centered in the picturesque town of Terrace. They offer an intimate Heli-Skiing and Boarding experience that will make for lasting memories.
They offer 3, 4, 5 and 7-day Heli-Skiing packages as well as the ultimate in Private Packages. They endeavor to provide you with a safe and exciting Heli-skiing and Boarding experience. You'll fly in cohesive groups of only six Heli-skiers/boarders in an Augusta Koala helicopter, the "Lamborghini" of helicopters. Each helicopter services a maximum of three groups in order to allow greater mobility and to increase the terrain selection that is available to enjoy every day. As of the 2011 season, they also have snowcats to backup your adventure 100% and ensure a day’s vertical.
The terrain that is licensed to them exclusively is one of the largest in the world and encompasses more than 5,700 square km's. Imagine only 18 skiers in an area 1/8th the size of Switzerland. To date they have explored more than 250 runs and are discovering new runs daily. The closest runs are only minutes away from the lodge.
The Lodge is located on the shores of the Skeena River and only 30 minutes from the Terrace Regional Airport. Access is quick and easy with a 2 hour flight north from Vancouver, BC. They’ll meet you at the airport and after a short drive you'll arrive at the lodge and welcomed with a great dinner and introduction to their program, Guides, Air Crew and the rest of the staff. In the morning, your helicopter awaits just outside the door.
